DOHENY Collaborate With Veteran Producer MIKE CLINK

January 23, 2005

DOHENY, the California-based band formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and former PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, completed a one-day recording session earlier this week with veteran producer Mike Clink (GUNS N' ROSES, METALLICA). The band tracked a song entitled "Dust", which had previously only been performed live.

Commented DOHENY bassist Tony Freddo: "It was great to work with someone as experienced and as easy going as Mike. This song has a surprising direction for DOHENY and Mike really managed to capture that well. We're happy with the way it came out and it was a fun day."

As previously reported, DOHENY spent time last summer at producer Scott Humphrey's (ROB ZOMBIE, POWERMAN 5000, TOMMY LEE) Chop Shop studio in the Hollywood Hills demoing three original tracks: "California", "Drive Me" and "Evergreen".

The band, who are currently unsigned, are rounded out by rhythm guitarist Sean Kipe and drummer Colin LaRocque.
